Did you try calling it using curl? That way you’re issuing a HTTP request and things should work as intended (and it can easily be scripted using a shell script).

You will need to setup your cron job to use wget or curl instead of calling the script directly. Otherwise a HTTP status will not be set.

I have write this with the normal method, main file which is at public folder than calling a router.
