# Parse error: syntax error, unexpected 'class' (T\_CLASS), expecting identifier (T\_STRING) or variable (T\_VARIABLE) or '{' or '$' in

I am receiving the following error, but have no idea how to fix it:

not sure,what code is causing it… it works fine on localhost using `php -S 0.0.0.0:8080`, but when I deploy to my microsoft sever with IIS 7 I get the error -

```auto
use \Psr\Http\Message\ServerRequestInterface as Request;
use \Psr\Http\Message\ResponseInterface as Response;

require '../vendor/autoload.php';

$config['displayErrorDetails'] = true;
$config['addContentLengthHeader'] = false;

$app = new \Slim\App(["settings" => $config]);

```

my web.config file loos like this:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<configuration>
    <system.webServer>
    	<httpProtocol>
            <customHeaders>
                <add name="Access-Control-Allow-Origin" value="*" />
                <add name="Access-Control-Allow-Headers" value="Content-Type,Request-Method,Authorization" />
                <add name="Access-Control-Allow-Methods" value="GET, POST, PUT, DELETE, OPTIONS, PATCH" />
            </customHeaders>
        </httpProtocol>
		<rewrite>
            <rules>
                <rule name="slim" patternSyntax="Wildcard">

                    <conditions>
                        <add input="{REQUEST_FILENAME}" matchType="IsFile" negate="true" />

You likely dont have the proper PHP version installed on your IIS envrionment.

Please double check that it’s above 5.5+
